This Is Giving - Where Adventure Meets Impact

Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of generosity, held each year on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. What began as a simple idea, one day dedicated to giving back, has become a worldwide movement that unites millions of people who believe in creating positive change together.

This year, we invite you to join the Endangered Wildlife Trust for This Is Giving – our once-a-year conservation auction that turns adventure into impact.

Ways to Give, Travel, and Make an Impact

Bid on Exclusive Conservation Experiences

Join our conservation experts in the field for an experience few will ever have. These exclusive, first-hand encounters take you into the heart of conservation in action, from tracking endangered wildlife with Olivia and Eugene, to experiencing vulture conservation with John and Lindy, and hiking the Old Salt Trail through the newly declared Western Soutpansberg Protected Area.

Bid on Luxury Travel that Gives Back

Secure an unforgettable safari or stay curated by our partners at Go2Africa. Each experience directly supports the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s conservation and community programmes across Africa, creating sustainable travel that gives back to people and nature.

Bid on Art that Protects

Bid on original works and limited-edition prints created by artists who share our commitment to conservation. Proceeds fund restoration and research projects that protect wildlife, sustain biodiversity, and support the communities who depend on healthy ecosystems.

Give Directly
Make a direct donation to the Endangered Wildlife Trust to help fund:

  • Conservation experts and Eco-Rangers who track and protect endangered species, remove snares, prevent wildlife crime, and support local communities in managing human–wildlife conflict.
  • Research that drives biodiversity surveys to discover new species, rediscover lost ones, monitor ecosystems and population trends, and guide science-based conservation action across Africa.
  • Community projects that improve food and water security, build resilience to climate and environmental change, and create sustainable livelihoods.

Every donation delivers measurable results, from stabilising species populations to creating healthier, more resilient landscapes for people and wildlife.

Bidding opens 7pm (SAST), Monday 1st December 2025 and closes 7pm (SAST), Wednesday 3rd December 2025

Can’t Bid?

You Can Still Give.

Every act of generosity drives impact.

Not everyone will bid on a safari, an artwork, or an experience, but everyone can help deliver measurable results for wildlife, communities, and the planet’s shared natural resources.

Your contribution, of any size, fuels the Endangered Wildlife Trust’s mission – enabling rapid response in the field, innovation in research, and long-term sustainability across our nine Strategic Conservation Landscapes.

If you’re donating from South Africa, your gift qualifies for a Section 18A tax certificate.
If you’re donating from the United States, you can give through EWT USA, our registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, and receive full tax-deductible benefits.

Why an Auction for Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is about turning generosity into action.

The EWT’s Giving Tuesday Auction is a transparent, purpose-driven way to raise unrestricted funding that supports every part of our mission, from field-based conservation and biodiversity research to environmental education, policy advocacy, and organisational sustainability.

Through partnerships with Go2Africa, The Expedition Project, and other like-minded collaborators, we create opportunities for supporters to engage with our work in ways that reflect the EWT’s values, building respectful relationships, upholding ethical practices, valuing all life, and delivering measurable impact.

This is about connecting people to purpose.

Every winning bid helps protect wildlife, support communities, and safeguard the biodiversity and natural systems that sustain clean water, fertile soil, and a stable climate for all life.
